Recently Lori and I both came home and when we asked each other how our days were, we both replied with something similar to, “I’m glad it’s over.”
We’ve reached a point in life–as evidenced by our @travelworkplay philosophy–where this just doesn’t seem acceptable anymore. Why go through life wishing our days away?
So from now on, our goal is to never, ever say, “We’re glad this day is over.” Instead, we aspire to have such wonderful days that we always say, “I’m sad this day is over.”
