#2. Our Atlantic Crossing on the Queen Mary 2
Perhaps we’re getting ahead of ourselves a bit. That’s because we’re queuing up a number of blogs in advance of getting on the Queen Mary, because once we board–like on our Turkish blue cruise–we don’t plan to work other than a bit of writing and planning for next year. So we’re making a huge assumption here that we’re going to so enjoy our cruise from England to New York aboard the Queen Mary that it should rank #2 on our list ahead of so many other fantastic experiences. If it doesn’t, we’ll let you know (and Cunard), but given the months of anticipation of this particular means of coming home, as well as all the reading and planning and daydreaming, we really can’t imagine our week aboard this iconic ship will be disappointing. Unless, of course, we hit an iceberg and sink. That, as they say, would suck.
Another aspect of anticipating that this cruise will rank so highly in our list is that, as I write this, I don’t have any experiences yet to relate. But I can assure you some blogs on our ride on the Queen Mary 2 are forthcoming. Interestingly enough, by the way, the day this blog is scheduled to come out, i.e. the day you should be reading this, is the day we should arrive in New York City.
