Did you know A Christmas Carol was not Dickens’ only Christmas-themed work? In fact he wrote two other Christmas stories: The Chimes (1844) and The Cricket on the Hearth (1845). The notions of extolling Christmas charity were huge themes for the Victorians of his time.
